Young People's Courses
The teenagers cover a wide age band and are merged together for the purpose of organising and booking their courses; but the physical activity courses will still be subdivided broadly according to levels of age, experience and ability. For the older and more advanced, the pace will be more testing and ideal for those who really want to give it a go. As always, great care is taken to match activities to attainable standards; but activities, which are not constrained by a physical dimension, such as Beginning Guitar, Horseriding and Young Clayshots will run together for both Teenage and Young Adventurer...More

English as a Foreign Language
This course is designed to make English accessible and fun and the emphasis is on thinking in English both orally and on paper. The language input will be functional and youngsters who opt for this will be encouraged to work in both teams and pairs.

Young Clayshots
This course is hosted at a local professional shooting school and caters for beginners or more experienced shots. Coached in small groups the course covers all aspects of safe gun handling before coaching and practice begins. By the end of the week the students would be shooting a wide variety of targets including driven, crossing and going away targets. Also during the week there will be an opportunity to shoot a variety of fixed targets using .22 air rifles. The climax of the course will be a team flush competition on the final day.

Fly Fishing
A country sport for the true individualist, fly-fishing is like riding a bicycle, once you have mastered the basics you never forget. Casting, strategy and tactics, understanding the wily trout, landing a fish, tying knots and even making your own flies are all covered in this fascinating new course. Fishing on the College trout lake and a stretch of the River Kennet, you will become competent at a skilled sport that you can take up again at any stage of your life. A course for all ages.

Street Hip Hop
A challenging, high energy class in which students will learn the skills needed to perform authentic hip-hop moves as well as working on their own choreography. Students will have the opportunity to perform in the final piece at the end of week celebration in Court. This course is aimed at young people with lots of energy and enthusiasm for dance!
