Young Peoples Courses
Marlborough College Summer School continues to welcome young people to our action-packed week of activities and entertainment either as residents with their families, or as day students on their own or in a group. The sheer pace of the week and the dedication of the Pastoral Tutors, ensure that everyone settles in with ease, and friendships are quickly made.
Catering for both day and accompanied residential, the young peoples programme will focus on flexibility and choice. There are four age bands from three to sixteen years old and have been slightly amended from previous years. Junior Troopers (3-6 years) and Children's Activities (6-9 years) will continue with the multi-activity programme that has proved such a winning formula for so long; Young Adventurers (9-12 years) will be particularly attractive to children who have attended Children's Activities in previous years. Teenagers (13-16 years) covers a wide age band but is split up for many of the activity courses giving everyone the best chance to find their level. Courses marked
indicate this is a combined course for Teenagers and Young Adventurers. Lunch is included free of charge for all children attending a full day of courses.
The extensive range of courses on offer makes full use of the magnificent campus boasting excellent indoor and outdoor facilities. In addition, selected courses are organised off campus in the surrounding area. During the week our young people (9-16 years) can also enjoy supervised evening entertainment between 5.00pm and 7.00pm.
During this time we will be offering a wide choice of activities which may include: outdoor adventures, treasure hunt, swimming inflatables, team building, murder mystery, arts & crafts and more. The week will culminate with a BBQ supper, farewell show and disco on the Friday evening, finishing at 10.00pm. Residential children can enjoy all entertainments free of charge and there will be a daily charge of £5.00 (Monday-Thursday) and £10 (Friday) for non-residents, payable daily or in advance for the week. All children will stay with their families in one of our residential houses. For accommodation prices please follow this link.
At Summer School we strive hard to provide an adventurous, healthy and very special programme to suit all the interests of young people, and to make their holiday at Summer School an unforgettable experience.
