Booking Online
The "Book Online" system allows you to request Courses, Accommodation and Entertainment tickets, but does not constitute a formal booking until your requests have been processed by the Marlborough College Summer School staff.
You will be notified when a formal booking has been made.
Please do not make any travel or other arrangements to attend Marlborough College Summer School until you have received formal confirmation of your booking.
Payment & Cancellation Terms
Applications should be made, with a minimum £50 deposit per person, on the online or printable booking form and sent to the address below. Remittances should be made payable to Marlborough College and the balance is to be paid by June 1st 2008.
In the event of cancellation:
i. The £50 deposit is non-refundable by Summer School.
ii. The balance will be refunded by Summer School for cancellations notified prior to June 1st 2008, otherwise retained after this date.
iii. Please note that responsibility for insurance covering cancellation rests with the applicant.
The Summer School reserves the right to cancel courses and change tutors, should the necessity arise.
Method of payment from the UK:
i. Cheques and cash will be accepted by the Summer School. Cheques to be made payable to Marlborough College Summer School.
ii. VISA, Mastercard, Switch and Delta cards are also accepted. Payment by these cards can only be accepted in writing, by e-mail, by booking form on this website or by fax but NOT by telephone. Please state if you wish to pay in full at the time of booking (5% discount applies) or the balance to be paid by this method on June 1st 2008 and ensure that your card will be valid on this date.
Method of payment from overseas:
For overseas bookings the following methods may be used:
i. Payment by travellers cheque (sterling only)

Early Booking Discounts
All customers can take advantage of a 5% discount on the cost of Courses and Accommodation if full payment is received at the time of booking. This offer is only available until 1st March 2008.
Special Arrangements For Teenagers, Young Adventurers, Children's Activities And Junior Troopers
- Weekend arrangements will be made for unaccompanied Teenagers and Young Adventurers who are staying for more than one week and who require supervision and meals. There will be a charge of £90 per person and the weekend programme will include various activities, an educational trip, barbecue and all other meals. Parents of unaccompanied Teenagers and Young Adventurers who wish to make separate arrangements should inform the Summer School in writing prior to their visit.
- Collection times for non-resident Teenagers, Young Adventurers and Children must be agreed with the Team Leaders responsible. This may be done on a daily or weekly basis, and the appropriate procedures will be enclosed with the joining instructions.
- Children's Activities (6 - 10 year olds) and Junior Troopers (3 - 6 year olds) will run for both morning and afternoon sessions. There is limited availability for these courses, and early applications are advisable.
Courses
- Collection Summer School courses run from Monday until Friday each week. Morning courses are from 9.15 am until 12.15 pm with a break between 10.30 and 11.00 am; afternoon courses are from 1.50 until 4.30 pm, with a fifteen minute break for soft drinks. Morning coffee and afternoon tea are included in the course fee.
- Prices of courses are listed in the 'Overview of Courses'. There are no supplementary charges unless specifically stated in the course description.
- Changing courses after full payment has been received may incur an additional charge where the course varies.
- All course prices for young people and children include lunch (except for half day Junior Troopers).
- An administration charge of £5 will apply for course changes after confirmation of booking has been dispatched.
Entertainment
- All Summer School customers and members of the general public can book tickets by completing the entertainment booking form.
- Tickets will only be despatched on receipt of full payment.
- All concerts are included in the residential price.
- No one is guaranteed tickets if ordered after June 1st.
- Tickets can be purchased during Summer School subject to availability.
Disability
In order to discharge our obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act, disabled customers are asked to provide sufficient information at the time of booking with regard to their disability to enable us to consider whether reasonable adjustments can be made to accommodate them.
